The Randolph County Training School Scholarship Foundation (RCTSSF) was organized in 2005. The purpose of the Randolph County Training School (hereafter referred to as RCTS) Scholarship Foundation is to raise scholarship funds and help promote the RCTS legacy and tradition through the development and distribution of historical information and documents. The Foundation will work cooperatively with the bi-annual officers and members of the RCTS Reunion to advance the RCTS legacy and tradition. Central to the Foundation’s purpose is educating youth and the general public about the contributions that were made by RCTS and its graduates.

RCTSSF awards $500.00 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted in a post-high school program of study. Awardees must demonstrate financial need and show academic achievement, participation in extra-curricular activities and community service. All scholarship applicants must write an essay on a subject specified by the RCTSSF. Graduates of Handley High School, Wadley High School, Randolph County High School, and Woodland High School who have a historical link to the Randolph County Training School (RCTS) are eligible to apply. Scholarship applications are available from the high schools’ guidance counselors.
