Drum Major Aaron Winston ('61) leads the Mighty Bulldog Band down Dexter Avenue in Montgomery, Alabama as the band participates in the annual Magic City Classic football game between Alabama State College and Alabama A&M College in November, 1959. The Alabama State Capitol building is in the background.

The band would shortly pass by the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church whose pastor, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would later become the national leader of the Civil Rights movement.
